Information
On October 1, 2024, Memphis Rise Academy will begin accepting applications for students who will be in grades 6-10 in fall 2025. All applications received between October 1 and November 30 will be included in our admission lottery.
Applications can be submitted in person at one of our Front Desks, by mail (5221 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN 38134), by scanning and emailing the form to apply@memphisrise.org, or by submitting online. You can download the application here.
The admission lottery will take place on Wednesday, December 4, at 5:00 p.m. All students/families applying will receive an email or message with more details on how to attend. It is not necessary to be in attendance at the lottery in order to accept a seat, if a seat should be offered at that time. Application FAQs
When can I apply for the next school year? Applications for the 2025-2026 school year open on October 1, 2024, and can be completed online or in person at either Memphis Rise Academy Middle or High School. Submitting an application prior to the lottery deadline, while it does increase the chance of a more favorable wait list number, does not guarantee admission.
How does the lottery system work? All applications received by 11:59 PM on November 30 will be included in a random-draw lottery, which will be held on December 4 at 5:00 PM. It is not necessary to be present at the lottery to accept a seat if offered. Applications received on or after December 1, 2024, will be added to the wait list in the order they are received.
What if I miss the deadline? Applications received on or after December 1 will not be included in the lottery. They will be added to a numbered wait list in the order they are received.
Do I need to re-apply each school year? Applications do not carry over from one school year to the next. If you submitted an application for the 2024-2025 school year (or any school year prior) and would like your student to be considered for the 2025-2026 school year, please submit another application between October 1 and November 30. Applications submitted before October 1 can not be considered for the 2025-2026 school year.
