Anime Club
Discover new animes, re-watch the classics with friends, learn more about Japanese pop culture, and tap into the Japanese events and Cons of Memphis.

Choir & Band
Student musicians have the opportunity to join the choir, jazz band, beginner band, guitar, music technology, and pep band. The music department performs at school events, pep rallies, basketball games, and more!

Orisentation Guides
OGs are leaders of our school’s freshman mentorship program. They plan and execute a host of activities to help new high schoolers get acclimated to their new social and academic lives.

National Honor Society
NHS is a club for students excelling in academics, leadership, and service. It provides students the opportunity to engage in community service activities and build leadership skills.

Philosophy Club
Philosophy Club empowers students to think critically about topics in politics, ethics, metaphysics, and more. Members learn about both modern and classical philosophy by discussing “Big Ideas” over a collation of snacks.

The Red & Black / Media Club
The Red & Black staff works to capture every moment of the school year, from the big events to the small moments and everything in between! Our publications include the yearbook, newspaper, and magazine.

CodeCrew
CodeCrew’s ALSAC/St. Jude Cohort creates cutting-edge technology that has a positive impact on the community. In 2021, students worked on touchless sensors!

Art Club
This open studio time allows students to create personal artistic projects and participate in quarterly art-making workshops. Students in the art club also help organize art displays and school presentations of artwork.

Sci-Fi & Fantasy Club
Sci-fi and Fantasy Club offers an environment for exploring worlds and spaces outside our everyday lives by watching movies and T.V. shows, as well as by reading related books and short stories.

Beauty & Beyond
All members of Beauty & Beyond have the opportunity to learn skills and have hands-on exposure to the training needed to become a licensed beauty consultant and/or cosmetologist.

Homework PowerHour
A place where students can find a quiet place to get work done or get some extra help on homework!

MET Club
MET (Medical Explorers of Tomorrow) Club provides students with resume-building opportunities that are crucial to success in the medical field while also giving a head start in career exploration.

Student Government
Student Government is the organization that plans all of the student-led events at MRA, from dances to rallies to spirit weeks and more!

MRAssistants
MRAssistants is a work-study program that empowers student leaders in grades 9-12 to serve in a variety of staff support functions. MRAssistants support the school’s general operations and academic teams, as well as our post-secondary program, art and media programs, and library.

S.A.F.E.
S.A.F.E., a student-run gender and sexualities club (GSA), builds awareness and community within peer groups, while also preventing discrimination and harassment. S.A.F.E. Members build their power through thoughtful discussions on contemporary issues and their life experiences.

National History Day
Members create an exhibit, documentary, performance, website, or paper independently or with a group to showcase a moment in history and relate it to the theme, Debate & Diplomacy in History. Students compete at the University of Memphis, in Nashville, and Washington, D.C.

Green Club
The Green Club embraces our local environment by learning about and experiencing local farms along with national, state, and municipally managed wild areas. We build a love of nature that fosters a desire to protect and improve our relationship with it through direct involvement.

Kaffeeklatsch
Kaffeeklatsch increases knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of German culture through coffee, food, films, music, and conversation.

Bytes & Bots
Interested in making your own video game or building robots? Bytes and Bots is open to any student curious about coding or engineering, no experience required.
